The projects going on at the JBG Smith CEB Tower at Central Place earned quite a bit of buzz recently. At 31 stories, this Rosslyn tower is the tallest building in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. The tower sits in the heart of Rosslyn, high above Central Place Plaza, which is the award winning gathering place for the neighborhood.
We have had the privilege of serving DAVIS Construction on three separate construction projects at the CEB Tower for quite some time now. If you’ve ever driven through Rosslyn in the early morning rush hour, you know how backed up it can get!
The projects for Gartner, Accenture, and Convene all required early morning dumpster deliveries due to the traffic that builds up on North Lynn Street after 6:30am. DAVIS Senior Superintendent Alan Rudisill asked for a 4am to 4:30am deliveries and we were there like clockwork. Traffic in the early morning hours would normally be seen as an obstacle on a jobsite, but Rudisill says, “I really don’t consider these challenges due to the flexibility of [Selective’s] service.”
To illustrate that flexibility, Rudisill also pointed to a different project we served across from residential condos where we had to deliver dumpsters at 7am, due to noise restrictions.
We are happy to coordinate with Rudisill and all of our clients on what details their projects require. We are flexible, punctual, and reliable, and we always get the job done right.
