Our Washington, DC project for rand* construction corporation is moving along smoothly thanks to incredible coordination between rand*, Selective Hauling, Capitol Drywall, and all the other trades working on the job. We just entered our next phase of waste removal: drywall recycling.
Capitol Drywall built us a three separate compartment “dumpster” which has been staged in the loading dock area. This allows all trades to site-separate different streams of waste to be recycled.
Last week we also hauled our first load of drywall to a facility in Pennsylvania to be recycled there. This was an 8.4 ton load of drywall! Our Capitol Drywall crew did an amazing job expertly stacking the boards in our dumpster. Providing separate streams of recycling will help rand* get closer to it’s client’s LEED V4 goal.
